Moon Hat Farm vineyard
A blend of Riesling, Muller-Thurgau, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grapes. Non-alcoholic.
Our grapes are grown, harvested and pressed right here on the farm. Instead of fermenting them into wine, we naturally carbonate the juice through a short fermentation using wild yeast cultivated right here at the farm. The result is a bright, elegant, lightly sparkling drink that keeps the character of the grapes without the alcohol.
We craft our effervescent beverages in small batches using washed and reused bottles from OBRC (Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative). Each batch is naturally conditioned (fermented at cool temperatures for a short period), carefully pasteurized for stability, and free from artificial flavors, shortcuts or added ingredients.
We began our relationship with the vines in 2009. Roughly 16 acres of vineyard had been planted in the early 1980’s. As we lived the joys and heartaches of the vines and winemaking over many vintages, our family grew and we started to form a new vision for our farm. What if wine grapes could become something else? Something refreshing, inclusive of our kids and enjoyed together? That question became our non-alcoholic effervescent beverages.

From our hands to your table, we’re proud to share something honest, handcrafted, and deeply connected to place. It’s our way of offering hospitality, bottled.
